Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is this service free? What's the catch?
No catch, we promise! Through our other ventures we are constantly in touch with both business owners and virtual assistants - and are always asked either "how can I find a VA?" or "how do I find new clients?"
Seeing this obvious need on both sides we had to ask ourselves - "What can we do here to connect these business owners the help they need?" And so we decided to leverage our network and provide a way for business owners and virtual assistants to connect - and here you are! Because the system is automated and requires very little time and expense on our end, we are able to provide this as a free service.
Our goal is simple - to support Virtual Assistants in finding (and keeping!) great clients and to support business owners with finding a great VA.
2. How does the Request for Proposal (RFP) process work?
The business owner submits their RFP via our online form, which is then sent out to our network of virtual support professionals. Once they've reviewed the request, those who feel they are a fit will contact the business owners directly to apply for the position.
3. What kind of Virtual Assistants do you have on your list?
The Multiple Streams Team Network includes a wide variety of Virtual Assistants. Everything from basic administrative skills through to specialized and technical skills, you are bound to find the kind of support you are looking for from our extensive list of professionals who receive the RFPs.
4. I received a bunch of responses, how do I know which VA I should hire?
Taking your time to select a great VA is very important. Before you pick a specific (or group) of candidates, I recommend you take some time to document the following:
What are your business goals?
What are your immediate priorities?
What are your expectations of a VA?
What are the most critical skills your VA should have?
This information is critical in order to determine what kind of VA you really need for your business.
Once you have identified the above, review the candidates and consider which have demonstrated that they provide the solutions to your challenges? Which appear to have the skills needed to support you in accomplishing your goals and building your business long term?
Narrow it down. Those that you feel would be a great asset to your business, connect with them and schedule a time to meet.
If you are stuck in the hiring process, we offer consulting services to help you review and select a great VA. Contact us at team@multiplestreamsteam.com for further details.
